‘Identifying risks and thinking outside the box is what I do best.’

With over 20 years of experience in fire system design and engineering, Bruce has built strong relationships with fire brigades, building surveyors and fire safety engineers, making him an asset to each project.

Throughout his career, he has led numerous projects, and he is passionate about delivering excellent project outcomes, as well as the design, documentation, inspection and commissioning of fire hydrant systems, fire sprinkler systems, hose reel systems, extinguishers, detection and alarm systems, sound systems for emergency purposes, aspirated smoke detection systems and gaseous suppression systems.

A career highlight for Bruce was leading the Garden Island Contractor Facility team, including the geo-tech, heritage consultant, architect, structural, building certifier, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic consultants and liaising with the project manager, the client and multiple other stakeholders.

Other landmark projects have included Wynyard Walk, a 180-metre-long pedestrian link and tunnel between Wynyard station and Barangaroo in the Sydney central business district, where the fire systems were critical and the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in West Melbourne.

Bruce has worked on many projects from Landmark Commercial Buildings, Defence, Health, Education, Correctional, Data Centres, Industrial, Airport terminals, Hangars and Transportation.
