ADP Launches Single Parent Policy and Women@ADP Program.

ADP Consulting Pty Ltd celebrated International Women’s Day with several events and a big announcement by our CEO, Belinda Coates, at a national staff morning tea – launching the Women@ADP Program, a scholarship for Single Mothers studying Engineering and a new Single Parent Policy.

“With only 13-15% of engineers being women, we have an obligation to support the future careers of women in engineering and women of disadvantage. So I’m delighted to announce our new scholarship program and policy, demonstrating our commitment to encouraging more women into our industry. Engineering is a fantastic career for men and women, and we want to make sure the industry provides opportunities for all, regardless of gender or lifestyle choice.” 

ADP Consulting’s new Single Parent Policy, the first of its kind, will provide flexible hours and leave at short notice (no questions asked), emergency childcare and other benefits.

Meanwhile, the new scholarship opportunity provides an opportunity for a single-mother scholarship that will provide financial support and a strong mentoring network. “We need to keep pushing the boundaries to encourage more women into the engineering field,” said Belinda Coates, CEO at ADP Consulting Pty Ltd.

The Women@ADP Program offers training, mentorship and networking opportunities to support women and their career growth. “We have some amazingly talented women at ADP, and it’s important we nurture and support them in taking the next steps in their career,” said Jason Afford, Founder and Director at ADP Consulting.

The aim of the IWD 2023 #EmbraceEquity campaign theme is to get the world talking about Why equal opportunities aren’t enough. People start from different places, so true inclusion and belonging require equitable action.
