ADP takes home the Award for Best Public Building for Australian Museum Project Discover – Stage 1
What a win! Congratulations to our fantastic team and client, Australian Museum, after taking home this year’s Property Council of Australia Award for Best Public Building for Project Discover – Stage 1. We couldn’t be more proud.
Project Discover Stage 1 is the largest renovation ever undertaken at Australia’s first museum, transforming it into a vibrant civic space and adding more than 3000sqm of public space. The complex adaptive reuse project delivered a ‘blockbuster’ touring exhibition hall, enhanced patron facilities, as well as member and education spaces. It was a privilege for our team to be part of such a landmark development, integrating the heritage aspects and cutting-edge technology to give visitors an exciting new way to experience Australia’s first museum.
Congratulations to everyone involved Gavin White, Kim McKay AO, Joe Agius, Mark Davey, Rachel Neeson, Stephen Neille, Nicholas Gonsalves, Cox Architecture, Neeson Murcutt Neille and the wider project team.
