Alister has worked in the building services industry for over six years, gaining experience in mechanical, fire protection and fire safety engineering. He has established a keen interest in fire safety engineering and the challenges it brings with respect to balancing occupant life safety and client aspirations. Each project is unique and presents an opportunity to work with the project team to design and deliver a well-considered solution.

Alister has been involved in developing fire safety strategies for several landmark projects across a range of markets, including commercial, residential and retail sectors. Career highlights include Cairns Convention Centre, Rockhampton Art Gallery, Logan Hyperdome Northern Mall and 101 Albert Street in Brisbane City.

A thought leader in his area, Alister has made a strong impact on ADP’s integrated building services solution to address the provision of electric vehicles within building car parks. He plays a pivotal role through extensive literature research, engagement with industry professionals and overall contribution to the proposed solution. He actively works in this space, delivering insightful presentations to clients and incorporating the solution into new projects.

Alister is also a member of the Society of Fire Safety (SFS) and the Working Group on the Fire Safety of Alternative Energy Powered Vehicles and Storage Systems to continue developing creative and innovative solutions to this problem.
