Jahnavi has been a hydraulic designer for over 10 years and thrives on seeing her final design built and in operation.

Understanding that every project is unique and has its own unique challenges and requirements, Jahnavi is an excellent listener. She always ensures she fully understands the client’s needs to deliver the right outcome.

One of her more exciting and challenging projects was for a meat processing plant that burnt down. A non-negotiable delivery was timing as the plant had to be operational within nine months. There was no room for error as the pipes drawn on paper one week were installed on-site the next. Seeing the plant operational nine months later was surreal.

Other experience includes the Melbourne Metro Rail Project, North East Link tender, the Jam Factory and District Docklands with her key experience being in infrastructure, industrial, commercial, retail, residential and educational sectors.

Passionate about engineering and being a parent, she always works to manage her time effectively between a fast-paced work environment and family life, so neither is compromised.
