Lauren Williams is a seasoned sustainability consultant at the forefront of delivering projects that integrate sustainability principles across the design, construction, and operation phases of buildings.

With a wealth of experience, Lauren excels in collaborating with design teams to enhance building design performance against environmental rating schemes, notably BREEAM, LEED, and WELL. She guides design teams through the process, ensuring project compliance with sustainability criteria during both the design and construction phases. Lauren’s expertise spans individual assessments, dual certifications, and large mixed-use developments incorporating multiple building types and rating schemes.

Lauren serves as a valuable advisor to developers, providing advice on cost-effective strategies to achieve sustainability targets while meeting client expectations. She specialises in carrying out Sustainability Statements and Energy Statements to support planning applications. Lauren’s experience extends to the practical application of a range of Low & Zero Carbon renewable technologies, and can advise on their application for a variety developments ranging from individual buildings to multi-phased mixed-use masterplans.

Lauren has successfully managed a wide range of project types, scales and values. Notably, she played a pivotal role in overseeing sustainability on Plot A2 of the Canada Water Masterplan, implementing forward-looking sustainability targets, conducting multiple BREEAM assessments, whole life carbon assessments, and securing WELL Building certification.

A sought-after public speaker, Lauren regularly presents on the topics of BREEAM, LEED and WELL. She has also contributed to the Architecture & Civil Engineering Masters Course content for Bath University.
