Tom Miers is a curious and considered sustainability consultant who has accumulated significant experience in the residential, commercial, and retail sectors, working with a variety of sustainability ratings tools. He has a great track record of working with design teams, clients, and local planning authorities to achieve excellent design outcomes, for both the client and the built environment.
A Green Star Buildings advocate, Tom lent his expertise to the Investa build-to-rent Footscray project to help the team navigate the brand-new rating tool. Other significant projects include Mirvac’s build-to-rent tower at QVM and, Hines’ boundary-pushing project in Brunswick.
With a strong passion for climate resilience, building physics and social sustainability, Tom provides invaluable guidance to clients on achieving ambitious ESD targets. He plays a pivotal role in driving the sustainability industry forward, particularly through leading the adoption of the Green Star Buildings rating tool.
