Ice cream manufacturer Bulla has opened a brand new manufacturing facility in Colac, just metres away from the business’s existing, 90-year-old Forest Street facility.
The iconic Australian business identified a need several years ago to increase production output in order to service its rapidly expanding customer base outside of Australia. The new factory, known as Bulla Greenfield, will specifically produce frozen goods that are sold and distributed in international markets.
ADP Consulting worked with Badge Construction to provide electrical (HV and LV), mechanical, hydraulics and fire protection consulting design services.
The building is designed to align with modern dairy manufacturing standards and incorporates world-class, AI-driven technology and cutting edge robotics.
Completed four months ahead of schedule, the new facility includes two new production lines (with provision for a third) and a custom-designed refrigeration system.
