Brisbane’s iconic BMW Showroom and Service Centre at 800 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, is set to receive a major face lift.

A multi-million-dollar project is currently underway to transform the facility and incorporate retail services. The renovation will include a refurbishment, minor extension, and upgrade to accommodate both traditional and electric vehicles.

Designed by ERA Architects, the new development will include significantly more parking for staff and customers and upgrade the building’s exterior with modern landscaping and batten screening to capitalise on the showroom’s desirable, highly visible location. The interior will also be redesigned to maximise natural light and ventilation, creating a more welcoming and efficient space.

Other key features of the development include a new arrival area and concierge for vehicle servicing, contemporary car detailing/programming areas and multi-function bays for vehicle display and meetings.

ADP Consulting is providing specialist building services on the project, including Audio Visual, Electrical, Fire Protection, Fire Safety Engineering, Hydraulics, Mechanical & Vertical Transportation.

The existing site has a number of key interface challenges including heritage trees along Bridge Street and a road resumption easement along Constance St alongside a busy site with numerous operational requirements. 

Our team worked collaboratively with both the client and ERA Architects to understand site constraints, stakeholder operational requirements and key business drivers to implement a staged and flexible design solution to compliment the new showroom, workplace and dealership.

The new showroom is currently under construction and set for completion in 2026.
