Throughout his 21-year career, Russell has always gravitated toward the design component of a project: the architecture, place-making, aesthetics, and end-users’ experience within the space. He is passionate about early project involvement, mapping out what the design looks like and how, as engineers, we can support the client and architects’ aspirations through innovative and bespoke design to create a truly great environment.

Russell has worked on major, and technically complex, commercial and health projects, and later in his career, has moved into the education space. He loves the opportunity that the tertiary sector offers, to create dynamic, diverse, and bespoke spaces to meet the needs of the different departments and stakeholders. To meet incredible people, be it scientists, researchers, or students who are doing innovative and future changing work, gives great him satisfaction especially when you handover an environment that greatly supports their work.

His leadership role on ADP’s multidisciplinary projects that continuously challenge prescriptive built environment benchmarks, and his proven record of practical research application, has enabled the ADP team deliver optimal project outcomes for our clients.

In 2018, Russell joined ADP, jumping at the opportunity to be part of the exciting journey of a passionate Australian owned firm of local innovators and designers.
