Alex is a dedicated and enthusiastic multi-disciplinary engineer passionate about sustainable design, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.
With Australia targeting significant reductions in carbon emissions by 2050, Alex believes there will be substantial changes to the construction industry over his career and looks forward to the challenges this transition will bring.
Prior to joining ADP Consulting, Alex spent several years in London where he undertook an MBA at Imperial College London and then led the hydraulics and mechanical teams at two companies. He has worked on a broad range of projects, including Tottenham Hotspur’s Training Facility and the Stonehenge Visitor Centre.
Possibly his most unique project was The Hemis Monastic School in the Himalayas in Northern India, a project during which he lived with monks to help with the building process. A complicated project where the electricity supply was unreliable and wood burners were the primary source of heating, Alex had to ensure drawings were translatable to people with little or no English.
Alex is currently engaged in several mixed-use developments ranging from social and high-end housing to commercial offices. Alex is conscious of delivering quality homes for those who need them and enjoys working with the broader consultant design team to achieve a great holistic result. He is also part of the Jam Factory Redevelopment project and is excited to be delivering a landmark project that will have a significant impact on the community.
