2 Cordelia Street is a new residential neighbourhood that will deliver a precinct as an extension of the surrounding network of open-air streets and lanes. It will be part of the arts and culture, entertainment and riverside recreation and dining in South Brisbane

The Build to Rent development will house 364 apartments from Level 4 to 28. On the ground floor will be the lobby, business centre and bar lounge. There will be common areas providing a sauna, gym, function room and dining room and to top it off will be a roof terrace and pool with dining areas and communal space.

There was a strong design focus on having a ‘tech friendly’ building to enhance the resident experience. To achieve this, we incorporated the following into our design of the building services;

  • Smart lift systems incorporating destination control
  • GPON IT network with wifi connectivity
  • Smart access control systems with in-built mobile phone use technology
  • Room booking systems
