‘Renting Reinvented’ -HOME Richmond has been meticulously designed by a renowned team of architects, designers and engineers to maximise liveability and deliver excellent design and sustainability outcomes to the City of Yarra.

The development houses over 360 apartments, a new, full-format Coles store, commercial offices and numerous specialty food & beverage offerings. The ground level has access points and laneways, activating the heart of the development and connecting it to the wider Richmond community.

Central to the development is the emphasis on providing quality amenity and common areas to actively promote a strong sense of place and community that is more connected and socialised.

With a focus on sustainability, HOME Richmond was designed to achieve a 5-Star Green Star rating and 7-Star NatHERS rating. Our team developed a climate adaption plan to pursue both ratings, incorporating climate risk considerations into the design and development of the building, as well as investigating a zero emissions strategy.

Key design priorities for our team included incorporating systems and features to reduce operational life cycle costs, as well as implementing design strategies to reduce embodied carbon and minimise energy costs for tenants.

Water efficiency measures were also prioritised, with 100L water tanks installed onsite to facilitate the reuse of rainwater for toilet flushing and irrigation purposes.
