To ensure racing remains and flourishes at Caulfield Racecourse, Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) has ambitious plans, including the construction of a new state-of-the-art main grandstand.

Designed by Woods Bagot the new grandstand will capture the essence of Melbourne’s sports and racing culture, where its members and guests can watch world-class racing in world-class contemporary facilities. In addition, there will be facilities for sports and recreation, a wide variety of experiences encompassing bars, restaurants and views of the tracks, and areas for the community to connect with nature and engage in cultural events.

The New Grandstand will realise the precinct’s potential to be a place of public pride for Melbourne and aims to introduce the sport to the broader community by finding new ways to help people experience and enjoy the magical moments of racing.
