A new benchmark in luxury residential amenity has arrived in Everton Park, Brisbane.

The Ashford Club is a contemporary recreational development in the heart of the Ashford Residences – a masterplanned community delivered by Mirvac and located approximately 7km from the Brisbane CBD. The Ashford Club sets the benchmark for placemaking at its best, with aspirations to deliver a recreation facility on par with the best in Brisbane, offering residents exclusive wellness facilities and a place of connection, belonging and social gatherings.

In collaboration with Mirvac Design, ADP‘s Specialist Lighting team helped bring Mirvac’s lighting vision to life by delivering an economical solution with a premium aesthetic. The existing boardwalk blends in seamlessly with the new precinct lighting strategy to create a cohesive language of light. A considerable emphasis was placed on the mood, especially the night-time ambience. Silhouettes of foliage, diffused pockets of illuminance, and the sparkle of water ripples creates a beautiful canvas against the nightscape. The lighting strategy respectively considers the sensitive surrounds and neighbouring properties.

Mirvac’s vision for the club was to deliver world-class facilities to its residents and provide luxury inclusions and spaces rarely seen in a masterplanned community setting.  The club overlooks native eco surrounds and includes a pool, sunken lounge with a fire pit, pavilions, alfresco dining, BBQ area, outdoor seating, and gym. Nestled amongst these facilities is the Teppanyaki plate offering an elevated dining experience where food enthusiasts seek an intimate, shared culinary delight. Masterful kitchen skills combined with smoke, sizzle, flames, and pleasant aromas create a memorable setting for residents.

Residents can access a wealth of premium experiences beyond their home’s comfort. The soft tones, natural materials and clean lines suggest a relaxed, homely ambience. The minimalistic architectural forms are enveloped by the rugged, lush landscaping design.

ADP’s expertise as a multidisciplinary firm enabled a successful, coordinated response to the project brief.

A custom architectural detail was integrated along the top edge of the alfresco dining exterior wall to softly illuminate the underside of the raked ceiling. A rewarding venture of the collaborative process was the development of the custom channel detail to the perimeter coping of the pool.

The Ashford Club – a centre for the community, a home away from home for residents, and a welcomed neighbour to the local environment.
