Chadstone’s newest precinct, The Market Pavilion, is a sprawling utopia for food lovers- a 26,500sqm precinct that celebrates the very best of fresh produce, gourmet ingredients, and artisan delights.
Capitalising on Melbourne’s dynamic food culture, the precinct features 50 unique retailers and provides an unparalleled experience for food lovers and connoisseurs.
ADP Consulting’s strong relationship with Vicinity Centres has seen our team contribute to numerous developments within and around the Chadstone precinct, including Chadstone Place, The Social Quarter, One Middle Road and now- The Market Pavilion.
It has been an extraordinary privilege to play a role in designing and engineering what is today the most popular retail and lifestyle destination in the southern hemisphere.

The Market Pavilion blends everyday necessities with unique artisan products in an environment built around shared experiences. Immersive food halls, communal dining areas, and regular events draw in weekday shoppers, local professionals, and tourists alike, while the inclusion of offices, wellness facilities, and a childcare centre on Level 1 make this a truly flexible space for visitors with diverse needs.
ADP Consulting collaborated with teams from Woods Bagot, Buchan, Robert Bird Group, The APP Group and John Holland to deliver a range of specialist building services on the project, namely Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, ICT, Vertical Transportation and ESD.
In alignment with Vicinity Centres’ industry-leading sustainability requirements for all new developments, the project is set to achieve a 5 Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.3 rating, driven largely by passive design techniques and innovative methods of ventilation, both of which contributed greatly to reducing upfront and operational carbon emissions.
The final stages of the project were completed in early 2025, with the new precinct welcoming visitors for the first time in March 2025.
