The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs’ $60 million Centre of Excellence at Belmore Sports Ground represents a significant investment in the club’s future and the wider community.
Designed by HB Arch, this purpose-built, three-story facility will provide elite training environments for both the NRL and NRLW teams, featuring a 800sqm indoor training space, aquatic recovery pools, equitable change and treatment facilities, a 70-person theatrette, hydration areas and flexible education spaces.
Beyond elite training, the Centre of Excellence is envisioned as a central hub for the Bulldogs, integrating training, administration, and community outreach. A key focus is the development of facilities to nurture women’s and girls’ rugby league in Western Sydney. Furthermore, substantial community spaces will enable the Bulldogs to expand their local programs and foster stronger connections with the Council and the broader community.
ADP Consulting’s team coordinated with many stakeholders to support the design of a flexible mixed-use office and training facility. With spaces designed to adapt between everyday workplace use and large-scale training or event functions, the services team focused on creating an integrated solution that supports functionality, user experience, and long-term performance. Close collaboration across disciplines ensured the design remains cohesive, efficient, and responsive to the facility’s diverse operational needs.
