In line with its Strategic Plan and culture of continuous improvement, Stella Maris College in Manly, NSW has completed the second stage of its beachside campus masterplan with the delivery of the Creative Arts and Learning Centre, known as the Polding Centre.

Delivered by Kane Constructions, the new facility reflects the College’s Benedictine values through contemporary and flexible learning spaces designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, discovery and innovation. Designed by JDH Architects, the building provides a diverse range of specialised environments to support the College’s evolving arts curriculum, including five design studios, four visual art studios, four general learning areas, two textile studios, a dedicated multimedia studio and a dedicated senior art studio.

Each space has been thoughtfully designed to create an inspiring environment where students can explore, collaborate and develop their creative capabilities, supporting artistic expression and academic excellence for years to come.

Led by project managers MostynCopper, ADP provided building services and specialist engineering expertise across mechanical, electrical, fire protection, hydraulics, ASP3/HV electrical and vertical transportation services. Delivered within a live school environment, the project required a collaborative approach between all project partners to achieve a successful outcome, with the facility completed on time and within budget.

The Polding Centre represents a significant addition to Stella Maris College’s campus, providing a future-focused learning environment that will continue to inspire generations of students.
