Wollongong Central, located in the CBD of Wollongong and approximately 90 kilometres south of Sydney, has reinforced its position as the Illawarra’s leading retail and food destination.

With the opening of a new look David Jones Store and new retail precinct, the shopping destination has delivered a best in class experience to their customers.

For nearly 30 years shoppers have been requesting that David Jones bring back their food hall and they have been delivered an experience which sits in parallel to David Jones major city stores.

As well as converting the existing Myer store to David Jones and remixing part of the speciality retail, the development also provided GPT with the opportunity to undertake a major central plant upgrade, improving the asset’s efficiency and reliability. ADP provided services to this brownfield conversion of the site while the centre continued to trade, a key requirement for the client.
