A development application has been submitted for a 30 storey, 106 metre, Build-to-Rent residential tower in South Brisbane.

The planned development is positioned at 37- 41 Peel Street and plans to deliver 358 units throughout the building: 77 studio apartments, 154 one-bedroom + multipurpose room apartments and 127 two-bedroom apartments.

The communal areas on these levels are connected with a curved staircase, designed in an architectural style that compliments the interior design of these spaces. The staircase would connect the gym on level 30 with an outdoor kitchen on level 31 and the rooftop pool deck on level 32.

A rooftop communal deck is proposed on levels 30 and 32, which would include a pool, barbeques and dining spaces, amenities, an open lawn area, a terrace and lounge space.

Perched on the hill and bordering Merivale Street, the development would offer great sightlines to the river and mountains to the West, and the city and river to the North – particularly from the shared rooftop space.

ADP has been providing a number of innovations on the project including minimising plant space to ground level so that resident amenities can be maximised, which is premium space for Build-to-Rent developments.  

The development is another Build-to-Rent project we are supporting Dowse Projects with, providing building services, vertical transportation, acoustics, fire engineering and sustainability design, and is another excellent example of ADP collaborating with key operators and developers in this space.

South Brisbane is quickly becoming Brisbane’s key residential area, with a recent influx of new developments and surrounding amenities.
