Located on the water in the eastern corner of Circular Quay, this luxury development encapsulates spectacular views of the Harbour Bridge, the city skyline, the Rocks and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
The development consists of a 19-storey tower containing 104 high end residential apartments, six levels of basement car parking plus communal facilities, retail space and public domain improvements.
Given the sensitive nature of the location, engineering infrastructure was challenging with significant excavation required around a heritage Sydney Water asset. The site also required decommission of an existing chamber substation and the design of a new triplex substation to serve both the site and surrounding properties.
Co-ordination on the project was critical to deal with tight floor-to-floor heights, transitioning core risers, and restricted building height limiting plant space on the roof. Ventilation strategies were also limited in options due to the proximity of the train line and Cahill Expressway.
