The NSW Rugby League Centre of Excellence is a state-of-the-art facility signalling a new era for Australia’s oldest Rugby League organisation. Designed to ensure the future success of Rugby League in NSW, through its elite training facilities, it also houses the administration of the Country Rugby League, University of New England, KARI and Men of League.
The precinct, adjacent to ANZ Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park, features a full-sized training field, gymnasium, player recovery facilities and a lecture theatre, and the new building for specialised support and the offices of the NSWRL.
ADP worked closely with end-users and the design team to deliver a services design that met the bespoke requirements of an elite sports complex.
Other advanced facilities include; a large open plan gymnasium with direct access to the adjacent external training field, premium change rooms, hydrotherapy and recovery pools, rehabilitation rooms, a sports science laboratory, executive players kitchen and function area, press conference auditorium rooms, media-editing suite and administration offices.
