Chadstone – The Fashion Capital is the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere with over 500 retailers and 24-million plus visitors a year and is currently undergoing a major transformation and enhancement across the whole development.

Recognising a demand for commercial space within the area, Vicinity Centres is delivering One Middle Road, a market-leading workplace, presenting Chadstone Precinct as a truly optimal world-class destination, where people can shop, dine, stay, play and work!

To further Vicinity’s commitment of Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2030, the building is targeting a Base Building Climate Active Certification through the installation of over 700kW of solar panels. The solar installation will also generate power to be utilised in other areas of the precinct and will make the building a potential net producer of energy.

The PCA, A-grade office tower will be a fully integrated addition to the Chadstone precinct starting with the newly developed porte cochère, a landmark entrance to the next generation workplace. The nine-storey tower will cater for 2,000 office workers and include 20,000sqm of office space, with 2,250sqm campus-style floor plans and a 600sqm sky garden. For the active there will be first-class, end-of-trip facilities and for working parents, on-site childcare to provide the ultimate in drop-off and pick-up convenience.

Targeting a benchmark 5-star Green Energy rating and International Living Future Institute zero energy certification, the development will include smart contactless technology that improves safety and saves energy and time, with improved allowances for fresh airflow and indoor and outdoor meeting, recharging and working spaces.

The development truly embraces the ethos of modern, mixed-use urban planning. It brings together the latest thinking in technology, amenities, wellness, and sustainability offering occupants exceptional convenience and work-life balance.

ADP has been working for the last six years on numerous redevelopment projects at Chadstone, including the fresh food market, food hall, as well as fitness, wellbeing, education, co-working and childcare centres, the David Jones Car Park A expansion, the expansion of the dining precinct and Site-Wide Master Plan & Infrastructure Review.
